I didn't write it there like that but that was what I meant. What I meant was that all the controls displayed on the screen are for a controller even if I'm using a keyboard and a mouse. If you read (and can trust in any sense) user reviews, it seems like the game starts to require strategic shifts, particularly with respect to the boss battles. What are you missing? There are configurable controls in the settings. Originally posted by malnourish:It seems like keyboard and mouse is full-featured to me. I'm a huge PVZ fan and getting a "sequel" for it does sound awesome which is why I wanted to see what this game is about. It's not terrible by any means tho right now it feels like an okay game. I'm at the point where I should decide what to do with the game. However I do like that I don't have to click on the energy falling down. As a whole there's nothing wrong with it except every single level does this same formula. You fill your back row with "flowers" and front with walls. Keyboard/mouse was mentioned in a pop-up message.įrom the strategic side Riftbound does suffer from the same early game syndrome as plants vs. It does not recognize that keyboard even exists. Some minor things include the UI being fully tuned for a controller. I suppose I'd have to try to figure out it from the hp bars I get when I mouse over enemies? Do the upgrades, or evolutions, in general just increase damage or add some functionality like slowing down? Is this upgraded water elemental 10% more powerful, 50%, 100%? The icy spirit shoots icy bullets but I can't see what they actually do. I don't have any information about upgrades for example. Riftbound does have its sides but some things are weird to me.
